Starting the Master Cleanse

I'm taking the plunge and doing the ten day master cleanse. I'm doing this for healing, health, and beauty. Plus I have a special intent for this particular cleanse, for my next step in life. So I hope for a physical transformation, mirrored by a spiritual and emotional transformation for the better. I am also hoping that by doing this diary i would be even more motivated (and obliged) to finish the ten days of the cleanse, or beyond. So, here goes!

Preparation: Weekend Retreat

Where I gave up coffee and resolutely said no to the free flowing brewed coffee of the retreat house. And suffered the withdrawal headaches: dull and throbbing, with lots of prayers and going up and grounding.

Resolution:  I will never drink coffee again! Or at least never get addicted to it again!

Luckily the worst of the headaches cleared in about a day, and by the time I got home, I was pain free.

In the retreat, I still ate solid food but a little  bit less, and eat more fruits. Fortunately, the nuns served us simple, nourishing meals, without frills like heavy creams and whatnot. Instead, we had clear soup with meat and vegetables, fried fish, etc. Ahhh perfect! Just what I wanted! (And the company was pretty good too!)

Disclosure: I had also already finished two rounds of Noni juice and a liver cleanse.

This is it! Getting ready to plunge into the Master Cleanse!
